Sunday Liz, Don, and I headed over to Northern Liberties for Equality Forum's Sunday Out! event, which marks the end of the weeklong festival advocating LGBTQ awareness in Philly.
(I got soooo sunburnt. Not fun.)
The Equality Forum is a weeklong event that showcases conferences, meetings, discussions, question and answer sessions, meet and greets, film screenings, seminars about health and safety, and a variety of other events pertaining to LGBT issues. To learn more check it out here.
We had breakfast at Darlings.
And I had almost forgotten how much I missed omelets.
We ran into Sarah Scholl and her friend Rachel at the commitment renewal of vows. And Mike and Joe and some other Drexel friends over at the stage with bands.
Anthony Rapp from Rent was a celebrity guest, and he sang a few songs with the Philadelphia Gay Men's Chorus that was a dream come true for Sarah.
My nose started peeling today! Horror of horrors! We totally had time to get sunscreen from my apartment while Don was at the bank... that was a bad choice.
